Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro
On Thursday the Venezuelan government rejected the terrorist attack that occurred early in the morning in Bogotá, injuring several people, causing damages and shocking the population.
“We have already released a statement of solidarity with the people and government of Colombia, and we advocate for peace and against terrorism and violence. We advocate for peace in our sister-nation Colombia,” said the Venezuelan Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Nicolás Maduro.
Similarly, Minister Maduro ratified the Venezuelan government’s desire to maintain respectful relations with the Colombian government in order to produce progress in economic and social cooperation and joint development.
“We ratify our absolute intention to work on the basis of respect with the new Colombian government in order to progress on investments and social plans for our peoples and for the progress of joint trade and industrial development,” the said the Minister.
