Senior government officials focusing on the economy and productive sector will appear before de National Assembly on February 22 to report on their achievements over the last 12 years, reported the Minister People’s Power for Agriculture and Lands, Juan Loyo.
The last two appearances by members of the Executive Cabinet this month have exposed the progress in various areas during the 12 years of Bolivarian Government. Among the issues that have been addressed in recent appearances have been education, health, labor, prisons, national defense, foreign policy, poverty reduction, socio-economic improvements, indigenous people, culture, and gender equality.
The appearances by government ministers is being conducted in accordance with Article 57 of the Rules of Procedure and Debates of Parliament, which allows the president of the National Assembly to request the presence of members of the Executive Cabinet.
